As in my mother's favorite Bible verse & mine,"All things work together for good to those who love the Lord and are the called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28. I am living proof of this. After a sad divorce, God sent David along almost 34 years ago(from Japan to attend his father's funeral). Anthony wass 4 at the time. We met just 25 days after divorce was final and turned my sadness into joy! David went back to Japan in Navy for 11 months then we married Dec.20,1980. God blessed us with 3 wonderful daughters and 3 grands so far!God knew I could not live the rest of my life alone! We complimented each other. After I thought my world had ended Jesus healed the hurt(as in the song by Dallas Holmes.). Making the choice to be better rather than bitter, loving the father of my son enough to let him go, has made all the difference. Trusting God that He had prepared David for me 3 years before we met. That is a testimony in itself! Divorce is not the end! Altho it may feel like it at the time! Trust God for He knows what is best for your life. We may have to go thru hard times but He is always there for He promised to never leave us or forsake us. God also showed me Isaiah 54 "as a wife of youth when thou wast refused. For a little while I turned my face from you but with great mercies & compassion will I gather you!" Amen and He did!!!
