Most people have experienced some form of rejection in their lives. It may be as small as getting turned down for a job to being something huge, like being told by a parent or spouse that they dont love or care about you.
Rejection is the most painful emotion we can experience.
This Sunday, I will be concluding the Soul Therapy series at Harvest by talking about roots of rejection that often go undealt with in our lives. The result is a life of striving, of perfectionism that is at best unhealthy, at worse deeply toxic and destructive to ourselves and our relationships. The Word of God deals with it and we can be set free!
Look forward to seeing you at the Bayou Rave Theaters at 9am or 10:30am! And if you dont live in Pensacola, tune in LIVE at either 9:30 or 11am at www.harvestpensacola.com/live
Grace!

Rejection can also lead, with doses of abuse thrown into the mix, to feelings and attitudes of utter worthlessness. If applied early and often, to a (seemingly) high functioning individual, no amount of positive reinforcement,or medication is effective. The only remedy I can imagine is the God sent healing of a scrambled brain. DR
