I have one of those odd outsider church experiences to. I went to Anglican church once where they have a communal chalice for Communion to which I sipped a lot of and hey hello real wine eaaaaarrrrly in the morning. I tried to hide my gag. OOps. I had only had grape juice in tiny plastic cups until that point.

Thanks Bob!
Being Anglican at heart, I LOVE Liturgy. That said, I'll be putting out an article Thursday, "What's Wrong With The Church" which addresses this very thing.
You're doing an incredible job! Thanks

We went to the Ash Wednesday service at a tiny Catholic church this past February. You are completely right about it being for insiders only. We missed communion because we couldn't figure out when to go up!
