Man, you have gotta check out Some o the tunes by a new group called Framing Hanley as well as the new Newsboys; The new newsboys are pretty much the Juseus Freak DC Talk.

I'm showing my Stone Age, non-downloading roots by suggesting albums. (Is the word "album" still in use anymore?) Not every song wil really rock with a strong riff, but enough will to be worth checking out the album.
My favorite, "Git-Er Done", house cleaning and workout music is "Crest of a Knave" by Jethro Tull. The flute riffs are as great as the guitar riffs.
Blue Oyster Cult also has some great music. (Don't worry about their evil-sounding persona; it was really all a marketing ploy to sell music.) I like "Club Ninja" and "Revolution By Night" to get me going.
There are also lots of great songs by Rush, Yes, and Styx that I also use for "Get-Er-Done" music.

Pat Benatar..Hit Me With Your Best Shot,You Better Run, Promises in the Dark..good guitar solos from her husband,
Bohemian rhapsody, Queen
Ocean, Led Zeppelin
Reelin in the years, Steely Dan (best introductory guitar solo, in my opinion)
Paradox & Carry On My Wayward Sun, Kansas
Don't forget anything from Boston's first album

JimiHendrix, Clapton , Ted Nugent
