- Good Sunday....solid attendance, solid message by Pastor Rich. For a 'nerd', he is really funny! :)
- Rich spoke on God as Father. I am becoming more and more aware of how much our childhood experiences affect all we are as adults, especially our responses and reactions. I am processing this in my own life pretty deeply now and praying for light.
- Alot of people are hurting right now. I just got off the phone with a good man who is in the deep pain of loss.
- Harvest 101 went great last night! Lots of new people are being added to our church right now. Loved hearing some of the stories of how Harvest is touching people in deep ways!
- I forgot how much I love King Cake. No sugar for over a month pretty didnt hurt.....:)
- The verse really struck me out of Matthew 4 where it says "The Tempter left him (Jesus) until a more opportune season." I hate watching as good people get nailed because they are ungaurded. The devil never takes a holiday.
- The Winter Olympics are over. I wish I had watched more.
- Michael, our son, starts today on staff as Director of Marketing. This is a dream I had since he was a baby, to 'do life and ministry together, in Jesus' Name'! Some people may have a problem with this, but I WANT my family, of their own will, serving with Deb and I in ministry!
- Big Daddy Weave (Mike Weaver) has agreed to sing at the PensacolaForHaiti concert next Monday. The Harvest Band will do 2 songs. DONT MISS IT!!!
Have a great week,
PB

First United Methodist downtown. Globe is sponsoring it and putting it together to raise 150k for the Lashbrook's refugee camp and buildings that were destroyed. More info on Sunday......I have 25 tickets, preferred seating that Harvest bought. You and Scott as Elders have 2 of them now. 10 more to be given to the first 10 blog readers who respond! pb
