- Daylight Savings Time.......Personally? I LOVE it. More daylight is just better. :) As a Pastor? I HATE it. You can have reminders sent out til you are blue in the face but the majority of people forget to change their clocks. It is always one of the lower attended Sundays of the year.
- The 'Confessions of A Pastor' series seems to be really popular. I had lots of great feedback from yesterday's message. As I said, developing a strong prayer life is without question one of the most difficult things I have faced in my Christian life, period.
- I think yesterday really brought relief to alot of people. God wants us to ENJOY fellowship with Him, not dread it!
- How about that bass playing during the offering?? Cory absolutely was beyond amazing, as was Dondi on drums!
- By the way, Dondi Frenkel has come on Creative Team on Tuesdays and is responsible for all music specials. For this series, he has been putting together fun, 'jam' instrumental features. Looking forward to what he has for us this coming Sunday!
- Played golf after church with Scott Ongalo, Jody Barham, Freddie Thronson. Jody and I teamed up and beat Scott and Freddie by ONE stroke. Oh, the pain......! :)
- One of the few shows I love to watch is "Celebrity Apprentice". How anyone can stand being married to Donald Trump is beyond me, but he makes for good TV...:)
- Deb and I are in 'pay off debt' mode. I have been on the phone working on cutting interest. Here is a mindblowing fact: A college loan is supposedly low interest. 8.25% is the rate from 2007. In 3 years, about 500 has been paid in principal, 3000 in interest. And that is a low rate?? No wonder people who have 18 to 28% rates never get out of debt!
- The school debt thing really has me going today. They sell it to students as just natural and assumed that they will have college loans, as well as the parents. Looking at the above, on a minimal amount, FORGET IT. Its crazy. Young people start off their life with a chain around their neck. There has to be another way.
- I am hoping Dave Ramsey gets picked up by another facilitating couple soon. Financial Peace University should be required for every young person graduating high school. God help us to help them....
- I havent had allergies in 5 or so years, but yesterday was brutal! What is in the air right now???
Off to the rest of the day!

Dave Ramsey for high schoolers sounds great. College costs enough without having to pay interest. There are other ways. Years ago, I went to PJC & UWF on a vocational scholarship for taking child care classes in high school. Now I'm a grad assistant which is paying for my masters degree. It's been hard to go to school and work extra while teaching full-time and being a wife and a mom, but I'll finish this summer and we won't owe on a student loan. Praise God!

Confessions is a good series, I am anxious for the next two messages, bareing your soul is tuff, I know, but it will allow others to open up to do the same. Let us all become transparent, and remove the mask that we hide behind. God already sees us for who we are anyway.
P.S. The pollen count is going up, lots of yellow dust on the cars.

It has been a great experience going to Harvest the past few Sundays. It's nice to know a fellow cajun around here :) Thanks for all of your hospitality, great messages and incredible praise and worship! You will definitely be seeing our faces every Sunday.

Prayer request for my Mom (Tahelia Wardlaw). She has been going to the doctor for the last few years with changing white blood cell counts up and down. Over the last several days she has experienced a rapid increase in white blood cell count...15-16-17 as of today. She will be going to the doctor tomorrow for check up and they will try to figure out what and where the infection is. All sorts of things run in our family so please be praying for physical healing and protection from infirmity. Thank you for your prayers and support.
