I woke up this morning, for the 3rd morning in a row, having had BIZARRE dreams each of the 3 nights. I am talking B-I-Z-A-R-R-E!!!!!!
The only common denominator is the fact that I had been waking up congested each morning so decided to take a Niquil Cold and Sinus pill before bed. Obviously, there is some ingredient in there that triggers some part of my brain where.......wont even go there..!
Seriously CRAZY stuff!!!
I was reading in Psalm 139, verse 14 this morning and came across this verse:
"Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!"
Things like my crazy dreams these past few nights, from possibly ONE receptor in my brain being touched by ONE small amount of some chemical, make me realize again, YES, we are indeed created by our Creator with such intricate detail......"fearfully and wonderfully made" beings.
Don't think I'll be taking Niquil tonight though........!
:)
PB
Oh ya, staying away from the chemicals help in the healing process too. That's a whole other story...

Hey Pastor Bobby, since you're cutting out sugar in your diet your body is probably detoxing and one way it does that is through congestion or decongesting. You're probably going through what's called a healing crisis, which is normal when you eliminate something from your diet that your body does not like. Ok, drink lots of water, stay away from breads, starches and milk which all contribute to congestion. Maybe this will help. Good new is that your body is doing what it's suppose to do, it's eliminating the toxins caused by "sugar OD". Hang in there, it will get better, soon you'll be clear and your dreams will probably be clearer too. :-)

Bobby, Nyquil contains doxylamine succinate which is an antihistamine and a hypnotic. It effects REM sleep and Stage 1, as well as circadian rhythm disruption. Believe it or not, although you are getting sleep, you are not getting the crucial sleep stages necessary for proper brain function. after 2-3 nights of this, some people definitely experience psychotic episodes just as if they were sleep deprived , daytime exhaustion, decreased reaction time, and nightmares and vivd dreams while sleeping. I would find something else :)

Well if the little purple picture has anything to do with your dream....looks
like someone who is not afraid of soaring
and has faith like a child swinging from
a tree...in this case an 'upside down' tree...could it be that the roots of the
tree are rooted in Heaven verses here on Earth.....
just a thought :)
