Sunday after next we will be having a special speaker in, Neil Silverberg. Neil has been to Harvest numerous times in the past and has always been FANTASTIC. He will do 3 services, Rave 9am Sunday, NTF 5pm Sunday, then Monday NTF at 7pm.
Neil is funny. Being Jewish, he always has his "one-liners" laced in. Neil is also the single best Bible teacher I know.
He and I have been going back and forth on what mini-seminar to present at Harvest this time. Last time he came (4 years ago), he did the book of Revelation in 7 sessions. It was fantastic. We have had alot of requests for teaching in this area recently. One option would be to do a severely pared down version of this.
The other 2 we have been looking at are "Through New Eyes" and "Peacemakers", Neil's latest. Here are summaries of both:
Peacemakers, Peacefakers, and Peacebreakers
This seminar taught by Neil Silverberg explores the call in Scripture for God’s people to become peacemakers—actively taking God’s peace into the world of relationships. Neil explores the biblical underpinnings for how believers are to navigate through the delicate realm of conflict and relational tension. Those principles are then applied to various life situations to demonstrate that, whatever the relational conflict, God’s peace is possible.
This seminar combines solid biblical substance with practical application to various life situations. What emerges is a clear cut path to pursuing peace in all of our relationships. Those attending will learn the various responses we can have to conflict; the biblical responses that God calls for, and the real issue whenever conflict arises—the state of our hearts. This seminar is an exposition on how the Gospel of peace is the answer for not only mending broken relationships, but also maintaining relationships as well.
The teaching in this seminar is especially designed to help assist families in relational struggles, especially married couples. God has designed the family unit as the first place where God’s peace is to prevail. In a day and age of marital strife and breakup, the body of Christ has the perfect opportunity to exhibit what it means to live in the Kingdom of peace and under the Prince of Peace.
Through New Eyes
This course helps the student to discover what a biblical worldview is and how it is developed. It provides the student with an understanding of Christianity not as a religion or spiritual experience, but as a way of looking at the universe. The student will examine how a Christian is to navigate through the various worldviews of Western life.
Feedback needed today! Please post which one you would like to hear most. I will be polling our leaders as well.
Thanks guys!

They both sound great...but my vote's for New Eyes. I would imagine that it is so all-encompassing, some of the meat from the other series will also be touched upon here.
