- Took the girls Friday night to buy our REAL tree. :) It smells great, but for looks, you just can't beat fake.....imo at least! We got a great deal at Lowes for an 8 foot Douglas Fraser Fir. Fun!
- We went to see the movie Four Christmas's as well. I was deeply disappointed. We went because Katy Mixon is in it and we have known their family for many years, and they drop by Harvest every so often. She did a good job, but the movie was just 'yuck' overall. Definately nails our culture though.
- I gained 4 pounds in the last week. Back to 'harsh treatment of the body'. :( I WILL fit in my suit for the wedding in 2 weeks. There....I said it. So let it be. :)
- Had a GREAT day Sunday! It was our best attendance ever for a Thanksgiving weekend. I am really enjoying our Harvest @ The Core series, if I havent said that yet! :) I am meeting new families every week and seeing our new folk connecting in.

Speaking of that, every church in America is trying to figure out better ways to help people connect. We do Community Groups. Any other ideas? Would love to hear from some of our newbies....

Our Night of Worship Sunday night was seriously unbelievable! Best yet. Toward the end, I really felt like I was coming out of my skin!! To hear that room with all those voices lifted up at the top of their lungs.....a little taste of heaven!!

Got to run. .....literally. Quick workout followed by all afternoon meetings......Enjoy the brisk weather while we have it!

Ok, Bobby... Fake looks better than real?!?! Are you kidding me? Do ya need glasses? I've never seen a fake that looks anywhere as good as a real one! Guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. Love ya, anyway! Merry Christmas to you & yours from Birmingham!

Hey Bobby if you ever want to do one of the running races in Pensacola let me know and I will run with you.... great way to meet people and exercise at the same time. I have done the Double Bridge run with Buford but there is usually a race a month ...
