Weekend Review

• It's Monday.....6pm......man, was today a LONG day or what???!??!  I called Craig up in Norfolk this am and both of us were suffering from "holy hangovers"...!! :)
• Back to Friday, we went to Gallery Night and really, really enjoyed it.  Watching Sojourn rehearse really ignited vision in me for our theater.  I see us being a "go to place" for INNER-TAINMENT.  People are looking for things to do and I know we can provide the best in our city.  We have way, way too much talent at Harvest....with lots of connections.  I am stoked about the next season!!
• Stayed up til 2 am Saturday getting ready for Sunday morning's message.  I was literally nauseuous I was so tired!  Its been a long time since I have pulled one of those and the older I get, the harder it is.
• My message on Excellence was hard to get into at first (the youtube 'drum video' was LESS than excellent!! :)...), but I felt a good flow after the first few minutes.  The Red Bull was a help!!
• Galen did a good job filling in for Will at the Rave.  He has such a good spirit and is just EASY!! And, as I told our Staff today, he is married to the 'most important person in our church'.
• Not Steve....contrary to his now 42 comments!!! :)
• Jennifer Counselman, our Preschool Ministry Director.....hands down, THE VIP at Harvest!!
• Michael (our son) nailed it Sunday night leading worship!  He has the 'GQ vibe' going for him that his old man lacks, but I can still beat his bu  rear end in basketball!!
• Dont tell him though...:)
• Freddie Thronson had a gem of a message at our Harvest @ 5 service.  Listening to him made me realise how much we have lost from the 'faith message' of the 80's.  There is some real truth there that this generation very, very much needs.
• Will really blessed our Harvest Norfolk team.  Craig said this past Sunday was the 1st time it really "felt" like Harvest.  Thanks Will for all you quietly do week in, week out.  You deliver my friend!

Off to dinner...or supper as they say in the South???

Both Sunday services were great. Galen did an amazing job leading worship and so did Michael. Both the messages were great Sunday too. I could tell that you work so hard on your messages Pastor Bobby... Thanks for carring enough. Also, Freddy hit it out of the park Sunday night! It was so powerful. His messages are ALWAYS backed up with so much great scripture too!! It is such a blessing to hear him speak.

Thanks Pastor Bobby for all that you do!
