Honoray

As promised, I stand with you in agreement and prayer for your dad. I have had the Privilege of sitting next to him at church and I look forward to having more opportunities to do so in Jesus Name.

Blessings,
big H.

"everyone who hears these words of mine and does not act on them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand" Mathew 7:26

Gods word is so important. The first step to take towards faith is to listen. But I love how Josh said in the video "To hear the word is not enough." That is soooo true!!! It isnt enough... That is only the first step. God wants to take action. I think we lose sight of why we are here on earth as Christians. It is because we have a purpose! Ephesians 4 states it clearly that we have a calling! If we didnt then we would have been beemed up at the very momment we got saved. There is an action that needs to take place. In Psalms 14 it Talks about God looking down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were anyone that did understnand and SEEK God. It says that he did not see one, they were filthy. WE become this way because we dont know what God wants so therefore we dont do what God wants.... I was reading a book and one thing was said that i want to leave you with, "No where does Jesus say just say a prayer..." The fact is, He doesnt stop there he goes on with walking in righteousness... To be a hearer of the word is not enough. Remember that.

surgery for your DAD? As an old Critical Care nurse (surgical and medical) I wouldn't recommend it unless God really gives you a peace about it. SURGERY IS HUGE for someone of any age but over 80 it's tough big time.
