That seriously blows my mind!
When I started this,it was more to just have a personal log (weblog...thus, "blog") of my journey, the thoughts and musings of traveling life and ministry's road recorded for me to look back on. I also wanted something my kids would one day be able to look back on that I wish I had from my own dad.
I have to say that I have really grown to love this form of communication. It has helped me to clarify thinking on alot of matters that were fuzzy before. It has opened the door to meeting many new friends in the blogosphere as well.
Likewise, I have enjoyed the comments immensely, as they help me to know the thoughts and feelings of people I would not have otherwise realized. As a Pastor, that is very important to me, as I believe a shepherd should always have a sense of where his people really are.....their struggles, their joys, their feelings on matters....I know of no other form of communication that does this as well as a blog. I wish every Pastor had one, it is that important, at least to me.
This Sunday, we hit week 3 of our God On The Billboards series with the song "Apologize". My challenge changes this time: What Bible story am I going off of?? Winner gets 2 Rave tickets, compliments of yours truly.
Oh, and all Harvest full-time Staff, as well as Ross, our FAB chair (I told him), are exempt. Sorry guys!!
See you Sunday!
PS...Gotta love the 'prom theme'......man, BAD memories...! :)
